Legacy technology
Core systems can be difficult to change, integrate and scale as administration needs evolve.
Ashvik Technology is building a configurable pension administration platform that brings member administration, calculations, workflows, communications and data together in one modern system.
Legacy platforms, manual processes and fragmented data make change slower, increase operational effort and make it harder for administrators to take advantage of modern automation and AI.
Core systems can be difficult to change, integrate and scale as administration needs evolve.
Too many pension journeys still rely on hand-offs, spreadsheets, rekeying and manual checks.
Poorly structured and disconnected data limits automation, analytics and responsible use of AI.
Instead of adding more tools around ageing core systems, Ashvik is designed to bring the key administration capabilities together on a modern platform.
A single operational view of members, cases, scheme data and administration activity.
Configurable rules and calculation logic designed to support different scheme requirements.
Automated journeys, tasks and controls designed to reduce repetitive administration work.
Integrated communications and document journeys connected directly to administration workflows.
Structured, governed data designed for reporting, integration, analytics and future AI capabilities.
Designed to enable controlled use of AI on trusted data rather than bolting AI onto fragmented legacy estates.
Ashvik is initially focused on the UK pensions market, but the core architecture separates administration capabilities from market-specific rules, calculations and workflows.
That creates the potential to adapt the same platform for other regulatory markets, including Europe and India, without rebuilding the product from scratch.
The platform is being designed with security, auditability, data governance and operational controls as core requirements rather than later additions.
Ashvik Technology was founded by Vikas Gurung, a British Armed Forces veteran with more than 20 years of experience across financial services and technology, including pensions, insurance and asset servicing.
The platform was created after seeing the limitations of legacy administration technology first-hand and recognising the opportunity to build a modern alternative from the ground up.
We are speaking with pension administrators, industry partners and investors interested in the next generation of pension administration technology.
